Another random crash

Okay, here are some recommendations. Your first crash there is BEX "Buffer overflow exception." Two possibilities to fix this.

#1. If your system locale happens to be Arabic, delete PCSX2/langs/ar_sa
#2. Otherwise download Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2013 x86 version and run it. When it says you already have it installed, click repair.

Your second crash is an app hang. I don't know much about debugging that, but some people with "Hang Type: 134217728" found it to be related to an input device (keyboard/mouse/controller/etc)

If the two options above don't help, I would recommend trying the stable 1.2.1 PCSX2 to see if that helps.
It definitely wouldn't be the first option lol, anyway, I've tried what you said for the second and will report any errors if it happens.

As for the error with Naruto..hmm..I wonder how I would fix that, I'm using a 360 controller to play.

Btw, thank you for the help!

Well, the reason I suggested option 1 is there is an error in the Arabic translation(which is activated when system locale = Arabic) that causes PCSX2 to crash with BEX. We get people from many different countries here, so it was worth a shot.

Anyway, just to check, is your computer stable otherwise? Other programs don't randomly crash and such do they?

Hmm, I don't think so. I've had a couple of crashes with Dolphin, here and there that's really it. I do remember changing some drivers in order to use my PS3 controller with DS3, Naruto Revolutions crashes at times too but that's only because it is a ***** port. Other than those occurences, I haven't had any issues, but I don't use the laptop much unless it is for browsing when my phone is charging, and of course to occasionally play emulators and select PC games.

Ahh, that gives me an idea now.

Config->Audio->Plugin settings. Change Xaudio2 at the top right to "Port Audio" or if that doesn't work "Dsound"

In my experience with emulators, there's always a sound plugin at fault for the errors lol I changed the option but I'm gonna take a break...I haven't saved so my spirits are crushed..guess I'll hop on FF13 for now..thanks for your help though.

Yeah the Xaudio2 module is known to cause some crashes on some systems which we haven't tracked yet. Would be nice if we could debug it with your system somehow..(in case it turns out this is the culprit)

Might wanna provide some special debug-oriented audio plugin in that case then Tongue

how could a sound plugin cause crashes anyway, incase of app crashes sometimes setting thier priority high in task manager reduces the crashes...
We're supposed to be working as a team, if we aren't helping and suggesting things to each other, we aren't working as a team.
