Any way to play online?

I see the options in the game, but is there a way I could like play with some friends who also have pcsx2?
That would be amazing.

as long as the game's servers are still active, it may be possible.
but quite unstable and buggy
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

but thre's no guarantee it'll work.
if you try the game on your PS2, does it still connect to servers ?

The servers are still up.
And I followed the guide.
The program keeps crashing every time I try to pick a new plugin instead of the "null" one.

UPDATE:

I got to here, what does it mean there is no "hardware"

"No hardware is connected" means that it believes that there is no Network Adapter detected. I've never tried to play online thru PCSX2, so I have no idea what plugins(s) you'd need to remedy this.
