Are there speed difference in running PCSX2 in native and D3D internal res?

for some video cards the answer would be yes, for others not so much.
Windows 7 64bit
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 OC to 3.6GHz, Intel GMA x4500, 1GB DDR2 Might just work on next guide

I managed to seriously speed up my emulation by using native on FFX.
My Spec's are:
OS:Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit CPU:Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 3.0GHz GPU:Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT 512MB GDDR3 SPU:Intergrated Realtek HD Audio Graphics: GSdx 890 Sound: SPU2-X 1.1.0 Controller: SSSPSX Pad plugin 1.7.0 Cdvdrom: CDVD 0.1.0

The higher the internal resolution the Nicer the image will be but the frame rate will be greatly affected if you have a low end GPU.

If the D3D internal resolution is set lower than the NATIVE resolution then the speed will be greater but it may cause the game to look very bad.

4096x4096 on 280GTX results in 2-5 fps in FFX on mine system.
1500x1500/2048x2048 is fine tho

setting to 16-bit color and low res will gain more speed.....probably
but it may cause your dynamic graphic to look noisy. |
