software mode is an option in gsdx settings.
you can switch from hardware mode to software mode by pressing F9.

So you think it's because of my iso? I hope not, because this game isn't sold anymore in my country and I don't know anyone else with a copy.

Do you think there is any other way I could do this? I really think if I'm able to skip the opening it would work. Do you have this game? If you do, could you please help me make a new game and give me the memcard data?

I do have it, but it wouldn't help since I have the french version.
did you try software mode ?

lastly, what you could try is the skip mpeg hack (in the gamefix section)

But you just need to remake the iso from your original disc, or is it damaged? If so you can get disc repair kits that can get around many of the scratches.

Failing that, im sure you can find this second hand.
