Atelier Iris 3 freezes

Hi guys, would like to find out is there any solution to fix this problem ?
I was playing the game smoothly till it reaches a scene whereby a new chapter is beginning. To be specific, chapter 6. It freezes after displaying chapter 6. Hope someone can help me with this, thanks !!

I'm using PCSX2 1.0.0
Playing from the DVD

My spec is:
Physical RAM = 4087 MB
CPU name = Intel® Core™ i5 CPU 760 @ 2.80GHz
Vendor/Model = GenuineIntel (stepping 05)
CPU speed = 2.797 ghz (4 logical threads)

PS: I tried it with PCSX2 0.9.8 and it is worse.

I believe I had a freeze in this game too. Try disabling the MTVU hack temporarily.

hmmm...tried the latest svn but still it doesn't work. the latest version can't even boot the game.
As for MTVU hack, it is not enabled. All settings are default.

Anymore idea on how to solve it ? Thanks people !
