Attempting to get Persona 3 FES working in 60fps.

Hey guys. Just got started with PCSX2 today to play Persona 3 FES, and had a quick question regarding framerates, and speeds. So, here goes. I looked for some way to get this running at 60FPS, and found this reddit thread here. https://www.reddit.com/r/emulation/comments/5tmge2/ps2_60fps_codes_list/ In this thread, he provides a list of codes to use in .pnach files. I found the one for Persona 3 FES there, which is

and went ahead and placed the

portion in the Widescreen Patch .pnach file at the top. I converted it, and saved. When I got in game, however, the game seemed to be running at half-speed. So to combat this, i went ahead and enabled Turbo Mode. This solved the issue, but brought about another one. Basically, talking portions and scenes are strange. Animations are much faster, characters are in improper positions, etc. Am I doing this right?

The comment that everything is double speed seems to make me think the code isn't complete. On Dolphin's forums, when someone comments a code like that, it usually means "the game runs in 60 FPS but most actions run twice as fast."

Darn, that's unfortunate. I'd love to play this in 60fps, but the characters are so awkward during cutscenes. :/ are there any alternative methods to getting a game to run at 60fps aside from these codes that i'm not aware of that might work better?
