Audio but no Video!
#1
I just set up PCSX2 on my laptop (running Windows 7), and I'm having an issue - it will play audio, but I'm not able to get any video to appear. I'm trying to play Kingdom Hearts, if it matters. I don't really know much about how this works at all, but here are the plugins I have selected:

GS: GSdx 5334 (MSVC 16.00, SSSE3) 0.1.16 [gsdx-ssse3-r5350]
PAD: LilyPad svn (r5282) 0.11.0 [lilypad-r5350]
SPU2: SPU2-X r5324 2.0.0 [spu2-x-r5350]
CDVD: Linuz Iso CDVD 0.9.0 [cdvdiso-r5350]
USB: null
FW: null
DEV9: null

As I said, I don't really know how this stuff works, so if you need more information let me know. Thanks!

First I'd update to the latest version of DX11 if you haven't already. Then upgrade your graphics adapter drivers. After that it should work, if it doesn't, try using software mode (f9) which will tell us if there is still some remaining hardware issue.

Does the laptop at least have an Nvidia card built-in?
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)
(I am no longer a Windows user)
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258
GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti

Yes, it does. I don't know how good it is, but it is Nvidia.

Also, I do have an updated DirectX and I'm not quite sure what you mean by the drivers.

Try this...as some games are not yet compatibile with Intel graphics (although most should be nowadays).

In pcsx2, go to Config > Video (GS) > Plugin settings ... then look under the adapter tab and select the Nvidia card. For some reason pcsx2 defaults to Intel gpu instead of Nvidia gpu. You need to use the SVN version to take advantage of this feature.

Ok, so I followed your instructions, but I don't see an "adapter" tab. I also don't know what SVN is, but I don't think I have it.

SVN's are experimental in-between versions. This feature was introduced sometime after the latest stable version.

Ok, well, I tried this and I got the same menu as before.

Thanks for all the help by the way, I guess I'm just not good enough with computers to get this working.
