Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Force Enable Half Screen fix in GS hw hacks.
CPU: I7-4770 3.9GHZ

Hi everyone ! I'm new here. I want to help in fixing Scarface's issues. By messing around with settings i noticed that putting skipdraw range to 2 and 2 (left and right box) in graphic seetings > Hacks, purple screen and yellow big circles disappears. Then there's like a kinda strande 3d effect, i mean for example you see a green colour on the left of Tony's head and red colour on the right of Tony's head, like a screen that ask for old 3d glasses... you can fix this by putting textures offsets X and Y to 1000, both of them.
Then, its still bugging on Rage mode. I hope I helped for solve the issue Smile

re you using latest dev build ?
did you follow lightningterror's advice above ?

in my memory yes i tried and it didnt really helped. And yes i use the latest version of PCSX2 Nightly 1.7.2350

UPDATE : I just checked and I realized I can't find Force Enable Half Screen fix in GS hw hacks.Fo[size=1].[/size]

uhh, those issues are solved by enabling "autoflush", which if you disable the manual hw hacks and just run the game normally with automatic game fixes enable, it will auto enable itself. You shouldn't need to force enable the half screen fix anymore.

I recommend using 1.7.2562. 2350 is extremely old, not even close to latest.

Okay so : I found the Force Enable Half Screen fix in GS hw hacks. I tried : it doesn't work.
I tried Auto Flush too : still doesn't work.
I tried all of them with many skipdraw range ; 0 & 0, 1 & 1, 2 & 2... with Direct3D11, then OpenGL... still doesn't work.

I guess I need to try 1.7.2562...

Update ! I installed the latest PCSX2 Nightly 1.7.2562 and indeed it work better !
I activated Auto Flush, I didn't forced enabled Half Screen Fix and kept the skipdraw range to 0 & 0.
BUT, to stop this weird old 3D effect, I still needed to mess with texture offsets ; I found out that the minimum value to work properly was X : 750 and Y : 750.
I hope it can help some people, I noticed we are many gamers to struggle with this game on this emulator ^^
