Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II - Slow down bug
#1
Question
I've been looking for a fix to Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II

There's an old post for the first game: https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Baldur-s...1-slowdown

Explaining that the torches and fire in the game slow down the emulator a bunch. Completely dropping FPS by a ton.

Does anyone know of any other threads on the forum that have fixes I can try? My game looks and works great so far with the settings from the forum post I linked but it still has the slow down issue, if I can fix that one thing it would be playable. Sad

Please let me know about a fix I really would like to play this game again.

took the email off sorry,

Yes I have that setting turned on. I have the speed fixes and a bunch of other settings from that post that helped the game run A LOT smoother, it just has this one issue of slow down around fire. I messed with the shader options and it did nothing.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]

why did you name it 1.03 ?
did you patch it with something like an internal widescreen patch or so ?

Ok. Dump it again from your original disc, using imgburn to do so is recommended. And don't apply any patch
