Best GS Settings for GT3 and 4?
#1
I've been playing GT3 and 4 with this emu and have noticed that when in a race, my car's wheels look blocky.  This is an issue with both GT3 and 4.  In GT4 on sunset and night tracks, light sources flicker and can be seen through walls and other cars.

My current GS settings with one of the latest GIT builds are:

Adapter: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti
Renderer: OpenGL (Hardware)
Interlacing: Auto
Internal Resolution: 3x Native
Shade Boost enabled
Allow 8-bit textures checked
Texture Filtering: Bilinear (PS2)
CRC Hack Level: Partial
HW Hacks disabled
Hardware Depth and Accurate Date both checked
Blending Unit Accuracy: Medium

If I use D3D11 as the renderer, then the image looks very dark and the glitchy light sources also become a problem in GT3.  Regardless of what renderer I use, I get a major slowdown when entering the main straight of SSR5 even at 2x Native.

Anyone know how to at least fix the blocky wheels?

I'm trying to play Gran Turismo 3 and Gran Turismo 4. Gran Turismo 3 works almost 100% unless I use high blending unit accuracy, which causes the framerate to drop to 10 in home, prize car screen, arcade car select, and dealer (when a car shows up in any of these screens).
This same problem happens in Gran Turismo 4, and light sources flicker and can be seen through cars and walls. In both games, the wheels appear blocky on the car that's in focus.
