Best GSdx settings for 5600x & RTX3070
#1
Hi guys,

I'm trying to play with the best possible configuration for my PC (Ryzen 5600x and Nvidia RTX 3070), my monitor is 1440p 144Hz.

I know that it depends on each game (in my case for example I'm trying to play as good as possible TLOTR: The Third Age), but could you recommend me the best GSdx settings taking into account my PC components? Based in your personal opinion of course! Smile

Thank you so much!

As you said it depends on the game.
I'd say go for 4x internal Res for most games, and tinker with AA until it suits you.(ogl renderer)
Some games won't allow you to go higher than native if you want to avoid getting slowdowns
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Overkill spec. Putting too much upscaling resolutions like 8K upscale will turn to saturated graphics. Just only select the right upscaling resolution for that.

This is PS2 game so upscaling it to extreme level won't transform the PS2 game into PS5-level game. Also, look for upscaling bugs that might happen and activate upscaling hacks when needed.
AMD Ryzen 3500X 3.5Ghz (OC'ed to 4.0Ghz)
16GB DDR4 2667Mhz RAM
AMD RX 480 8GB GDDR5.
240GB SSD
Gigabyte Aorus B450i ITX mobo

I build it from source code. Everything works EXCEPT software mode in windows. Linux 64-bit version only have working gsdx software mode so far. 64-bit builds are not yet available for now.
