1) Use PCSX2 1.0
2) Use the stock settings unless a game specifically needs something
3) That video card is weak, stick to native resolution
4) Overclocking your CPU over 3.0GHz should allow most games to run well enough

1) Done
2) Stock settings = default? Done
3) Native. Done. But it's kinda small D:
4) No hangs so far. So I won't overclock.

Thanks.

We have the same processor but diff. videocard. (mine's HD 5770) I'm not sure about your GPU but I can play the not-so-demanding games at full speed using recommended speed hacks and the MTVU hack with 3x-4x Scaling. My suggestion is 1.) try your game first without the hacks and 3x Scaling, 2.) if it's slow, bring down scaling to 2x, 3.) if still slow, activate all recommended hacks and MTVU, but turn off the hacks if you experience glitches although I rarely notice this in my games, 4.) if still slow, use 1x, native, or if there is really no choice, use (ugly) software rendering but be sure to set Extra rendering threads to 3 which can play some games at full speed. And you don't have to overclock since I also didn't. Smile
