Best configuration for 1.4.0, based on my PC's Specs ?
#1
Hey guys and gals, so, here goes nothing. My PC has the specs listed below:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: 8 gigs of ddr3 (Corsair Vengeance)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 OC Windforce 3x (GV-N760OC-2GD) -- I don't remember if I have the 2GB or the 4GB version, anyway to check that?

So, can any GURU help me get the most out of those specs ? I'm getting some "white" bars on some games (currently using Direct3D11 Hardware).
Thanks for everything!

Cheers!

I'll attach images of my PCSX2 settings (after many researching and tweaking).

So PCSX2 will require changing settings on some games no matter the hardware you have it is just part of how it is. but here are some general tips

1. Use 1.5.X builds found here https://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/ 1.4 is really out of date by this point.

2. Use OpenGL (unless it is a game that specifically requires you not to use OpenGL) with your hardware it will just be better period since it is updated more frequently and your not using AMD hardware that is slower on OpenGL due to bad drivers.

3. Use default settings unless there is an issue then tweak from there for that specific game. The PCSX2 wiki is generally good with any major changes needed but you can always ask in the forums

Quick edit:
If your Graphics card is the model you specified it is a 2GB variant
