I got up to 1260. Above that it will start doing it. Since my monitor rez is 1080 vertically, I use 1260x1080 res. Using 1260x709 (relative to 1920x1080) looks lesser than 1260x1080 so I just use 1260x1080. Use 1260x720 if you get slowdowns.

Setting your monitor's resolution to any of these resolutions while you play on these resolutions with the emulator looks even better than just using the above and playing on a 1080p rez. But that is tedious. Too bad that there is no option in the emulator to change windows' resolution to the game's resolution when the game is fullscreen.

would be possible to automatize the width lowering process?
i mean.. without having to open every time the gsdx settings window.. (like binding a button to this action)
it's a little time gain.. but multiplied by the many times you have to do that it would really made my day

Doesnt work. Setting nvidia driver and emulator to  1260x1080 - same black lines. highest  without black lines- is 1200X1200 (settings this resolution to monitor just give game picture in a small window with black bars around
