why does pcsx2 reads the disk multiple times?
when i play a game not even once does this text apear in the emulog text. :/
Why would it read the ISO multiple times, is there something wrong with my disc image?

EDIT: congrats on 1,300 posts Tongue

that is what i am suspecting, have you tried re-ripping the game with imgburn? could be a bad dump.

Re-dumped the ISO with ImgBurn, here's what happened:

(SYSTEM.CNF) Detected PS2 Disc = cdrom0:\SCUS_971.42;1
(SYSTEM.CNF) Software version = 1.00
(SYSTEM.CNF) Disc region type = NTSC
ELF (cdrom0:\SCUS_971.42;1) Game CRC = 0xFCD89DC3, EntryPoint = 0x00100008
(SYSTEM.CNF) Detected PS2 Disc = cdrom0:\SCUS_971.42;1
(SYSTEM.CNF) Software version = 1.00
(SYSTEM.CNF) Disc region type = NTSC

Still no dice though :/

Sorry for the double post...I've just dumped another ISO (a game called Odin Sphere) and it works amazingly, 55 FPS with no lag or stuttering at all.
What could be wrong with Primal? Sad

Hmm, I've tested this 2 years ago, I had to choose the super vu recompilers for it to work, but aside from that it was fine
