Well, it turned out that 1800/4050 wasn't as stable as I thought: random OS bootup failures, etc. So I dialed it down to 1667/3750 and it's working great. Also, I check temp at this setting in the bios and it never rises above 55c. I've set it up so the CPU fan runs at 100% while temp > 50c.

Threading it more would be so amazing since the max that turbo boost puts this thing to is 2.793GHz You guys must have gotten a lot more skilled with programming since last time it was said that it would be possible.
