Broken shadows on Silent Hill 3 & 4 on latest dev.builds
#1
Using all releases until May's ones always gave normal real-time shadows with OpenGL render and enabling "Hardware depth" option in these games. Now, when Depth emulation enabled by default, I got weird glitches, no matter what other - Accurate date, Blending accuracy, Internal res - adjusted. I tried about ten of latest builds, and nothing changed to fix it.

Just see at these sceenshots:

If the engine is similar to 2, you need to have the CRC level set to "Partial" in order to have shadows.

Silent Hill 3 shadows are all there with OpenGL, even with CRC on Full.

OMG, thx for the info! SH3 looks amazing at 6X IR with OGL and the correct shadows.

I did a fix for ffx2 that wasn't safe. So maybe I broke some shadows. I reverted the code to somethings safer, maybe it is now working as expecting again. So just to be sure, please retry latest version.

Sadly this wasn't help. The shadows are the same glitchy as on my first screenshot, and casting is different than in software mode and PCSX2 1.4 or April's builds.
Changing CRC fix level doesn't make any help.

Well, I carefully checked all dev.builds between second half of April and May and found that first troubled build is *removed*
It has a long changelog, so maybe this info will help developers to find a reason faster...
All builds before works very well with all SH2-SH4 and also doesn't exist nasty FMV bugs in SHO/SM that I described at the side topic.

No linking to unofficial builds please.

Besides that was an amalgamation of about 10 builds, can you find the correct build here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/index.php?m=fulllist

*hint: The build you links was from the "onepad: Use Bind instead of Connect" build number 655, work back from that*

Okay, I found the official latest successfull build, and it's 2016-04-24 12:06:16 (dev-640). For all following ones the shadows are always broken.

Broken in native? Or broken in upscaling/CR ?
