Budokai Tenkaichi 3 - Fps problem!
#1
Hey guys.
After finaly some hours of configuring my emulator i managed to play budokai 3 and mortal kombat deception which really turned out to be playable games.
But when it comes to Budokai tenkaichi 3 its not the same thing. When i play it the fps drops to 30 or even 25 sometimes. ( i play other games with 70 FPS )

My Config:

My PC Specs:
Windows XP,SP3
AMD Athlon Dual Core 5000+,2.61 GHz
4 GB RAM
Ati Radeon 4850 HD

Should I use some other plugins? And if yes, tell me what.
Note: I cant use SSE3 or higher.
pls help Smile

I Didn't try Budokai before then I can help regarding your Budokai. Nevertheless, I only can help that .. I can guess your CPU should be AMD before I see the picture .... This due to AMD and Intel have different structure. The best of AMD only support is SSE2 for GDsx (note: AMD also support some other SSE then SSE2 but which Gabest not implant to Gsdx.)

just check this link, the game looks so playable, and that guy had actually a lower processor than mine, he used AMD Athlon64 X2 4000+ Dual Core @ 2.36Ghz.
im now trying to get his plugins so maybe ill get this game running like his
LE: i tried his graphic plugin, GSDX MSVC 15.00 SSE 0.1.4 but with no results
infact, the fps dropped this time to 17! i dont know what to do next and what plugins i should get.
LE2: should i try DX10?
can anyone help?

Youtube videos aren't good examples. Most of the time, they are faster than reality.
In that video, fps aren't showed at any time.

Dx 10 can give you a speedboost, speedhacks can too.

DBZ-BT3 is GPU limited, so lowering the resolution should help alot

Seems like DX10 didn't have any effect on my Pcsx2. Any other ways?

that's quite odd, as I have 40fps for that game with my rig (looks weaker than yours...)

Using native res in gsdx helped me. I dunno about your case

I know gsdx isn't very compliant with ATI cards though...

there's only 1 option left so using SSE2 might be the problem but im not quite sure.
OR, i might havent configured Advanced Options well.
