Default should work fine with this game.
Fps problem may be because of your slower Processor. Something such as i5/i7 are good for running this game. Did you configure your plugin properly?
A good Graphics Card may be needed.

The problem is the low compatibility of the mac version.
Don't expect games to be actually enjoyable on a mac, sorry.
(Bootcamp and Windows would help a lot here.)

i know that bootcamp would help but do you know that once you have done and deleted bootcamp one time and you have to format your mac to make another bootcamp? so i have to work on this...

Well, there's no fix for the mac version at this time.
Also there's just one developer working on it, and only partly.
