[Bug Report] Duel Masters [NTSC-U]
#1
PCSX2 version: 1.5.0-dev-1882
EE/IOP/VU: Default / Preset 2 - Safe
Plugins Used: GSdx 20170208194254 (MSVC 19.00 AVX2/AVX2) 1.1.0[GSdx32-AVX2] - OpenGL Hardware - internal resolution 3x Native/ OpenGL Software
Description: Incorrect transparency effect on the monster model "Bloody Squito" when summoned in a duel. It happens in both software and hardware modes. Sometimes the effect is rendered correctly but its completely random.

Steps to reproduce
Get into a duel against a user of the card. Fastest way to do this is to duel against Flynn as Flynn in arcade mode and wait until someone summons Bloody Squito

Properly emulated(?) in the first screenshot but glitched in the second and third. First and third screenshot are in hardware mode and the second is in software mode.

But?

Seems like part of that sentence is missing. Smile

Can you try changing the (go to Config > Emulation Settings) VUs Rounding Mode and Clamping Mode settings? You'll need to change the setting before starting the fight(and not use savestates), as once the bug is loaded changing a setting will likely not resolve it.

If it doesn't help can you try some older PCSX2 builds like v1.4.0 or v1.2.1 to see if it worked before?

Happens for all combination of Rounding and Clamping mode settings. Also happens in 1.4.0 and 1.2.1.

Can you retest this on latest Git please?

Played a few matches but didn't encounter the transparency bug but the color of the monster is still completely random.

Oh OK. Can you expand on that please and upload a GS Dump if necessary?

Never mind about it being fixed. Just as I went to take to a screenshot and a GS dump for it, the transparency bug happened right back.
