[Bug Report] Eternal Poison [NTSC]
#11
Managed to get hold of Zzogl 0.14.89 and it produces the same black screen using default setup. As mentioned earlier I have no experience with these plugins, so don't know if any of the many options would help anything.

One thing: you should try run this game with pcsx2 0.94 (ancient pre playgraound version), not with current pcsx2 0.96

Is there any place to download 0.94? I deleted it many months ago since 0.96 worked better for most of the games I tried.

Same here!

I can speculate that in order to run this game, gotta install Linux first, despite the majority of humans are under Windows.

Very likely make Eternal Poison (SLUS 21779) playable

In official PCSX2 0.9.7 beta 3113, you click Config then Emulation Settings.
  • In EE/IOP Panel, choose Full under Clamping Mode.
  • In VUs Panel, choose Extra under Clamping Mode.
Both the two options are co-operated with each other.

I suppose you can beat the game eventually from now on.
Maybe you'll make it a gamefix or a patch in GameIndex.dbf

For NTSC-J, I've actually tried this game out quite a while ago, and with rama's suggestion, setting only EE clamping to none does the same job though later in game the dialogue box at the bottom does not show. I'm not sure if it is NTSC-J only. Do you have this problem with that setting?
