Prafull's IPU patch which seems to work similar to PAL Klonoa 2's 50hz IPU patch. It tends to work or not work between different dev builds of pcsx2
dev 2887 is the last one I got to work but I've not had a lot of time to test in the past while. I'll try some nearby builds again to see if I can figure out when it worked and when it stopped working again.
2887 works for me even for the older IPU patches.

At the moment all I know is it has to do with the fire effects Klonoa 2 uses, The PS2's image processing unit and maybe ps2's graphics synthesizer vsync?? idk for sure. 
On a real scph75000 ps2  and even a ceche01 ps3 that door in joilant as well as other places including the crash spot at volk city causes the game to reset or lose the video signal sync for a moment even on a vga monitor or on an old CRT tv.

Didn't get time to test but I am almost certain that Dev builds won't be crashing here.

I narrowed it down to 2872 being the build it started working again and 2906 being the build that broke the patch again.
Also the old IPU patches work on the builds between 2872~2905
I'm not sure what "Remove the unused 'incomplete and untested' BaseTaskThread class." on 2072 would do to cause the patches to load again.
I guess the way patches are being loaded from build 2906 onwards are causing it to fail?

Most of the problems with this game are now fixed. My new patch is required (already in the gamedb) to load few levels. This one is even better than the last one and fixes corrupt textures. I request everyone to test thoroughly to find out if this patch messes up stuff in other levels.

Ah I will gladly test and thank you for the new patch.
Edit: The 4 Major crash areas work fine and so far there are no graphical glitches at all on water which is awesome. I want to go through the full game but as you can see I have a stutter problem going on currently. I lean towards thinking it is my gpu driver settings more than pcsx2 so I will try to fix that first.

And I forgot to record sound.. woops. ok next time I will. very sleepy atm I'll get back around to it after.
