# Description: In the last chapter of the game, there's a dialog that triggers an error in PCSX2.
When the error occurs one of the following things happen:
1) The text shown is garbage but you can continue playing.
2) The text shown is garbage and the emulator gives errors in red in the log windows. After a while, the emulator might or might not crash.
3) The emulator crashes when the game tries to show the text. When this happens, there are no errors shown in the log window.
4) The dialogue is canceled, but the garbage text is still there (this only happened to me once and I can't get the emulator to do it again). Errors are shown on the log window.

Here are the screenshots for the case 1, 2 and 4 (in that order):

Judging from the context, I recon the garbage text should be the name of your character which you can set at the beginning of the game (I use the default name) because the text says: "Aaaaahhh, [garbage text] wait a moment!!" and the situation in the game is a romantic meeting in Christmas Eve.

Case 1 happens when you advance the dialog manually, one line at the time using the circle button.
Case 2, 3 and 4 happened when I tried to fast forward the dialog by pressing the square button and the chossing the fastest speed with the Right D-Pad key or when pressing R2 + circle button (with the square button the fast forward is automatic, with R2 + circle, you have to keep presing them to fast forward).

I tried this using hardware and software mode on both versions of PCSX2 and the result is the same (I have Windows XP so I can only use DirectX 9).
The error in the log window is different every time the error occurs. Here's one:

Sometimes is shorter, sometime is longer.

I attached a memory card file in case someone else has the game and wants to try it.
Here are the steps to reproduce it:

1) After loading the game, press right to choose the top right window and leave the room.
2) Go to the cafeteria (the place with the label 食堂), press circle, then press right to choose the portrait of the girl and press circle again.
3) Depending on which of the above mentioned cases you want to see, advance the dialog with circle or the fast forward methods.
4) On the first choice, select the second (奈々子と話がしたい/I want to speak to Nanako). Bear in mind the the game shows text in the traditinal Japanse way meaning the second option is the one on the left, NOT the one on the right.
5) On the next choice, a circle with 8 kanji will appear on the bottom of the screen. Press and hold UP on the D-Pad until the bar is fully charged to select the upmost option (愛/Love)
6) On the third choice, select the first one (it's already highlighted) (明日一緒に過ごす/Spend the day toghether tomorrow).
7) Keep advancing the dialog until the girl dissapears. You will hear her steps. After that is when the error happens.

Despite this, the game can be finished. You can just skip that dialog or try the case 1.

I never had any problems ripping games but this time, instead of ripping the disc again, I tried running the game from the disc. The bug still happens.
There's something I should say though: my copy of the game is used. The disc is not destroyed but it's not brand new either. There are marks here and there. Maybe it's damaged.
I uploaded a memory card so someone else can try it and confirm if the game works or not. According to the website, that file has 1 download so someone should be trying it now and will report his findings... I hope.

You could see if it happens on your PS2 (presuming it's still alive) and if it happens there we know its your copy of the game.

I don't play anymore on the PS2. In fact, I got tired of consoles so I don't play on any of them anymore. I have a PS3 that very rarely use whenever I want to play Time Crisis 4 (because there's no PS3 amulator yet) and an Xbox360 which I bought only to play Rise of Nightmares. I used it two weekends to finish the game 2 years ago and it has been sleeping in it's box since then. I'm a PC gamer.
Actually, I bought this game (and others) recently. Since the emulator works great I started playing a lot of games I wanted to play for years but I didn't want to play them on the console.

Well, there's that and the fact that, to try that bug in the PS2 I have to play through the entire game again (the bug is in the last chapter, right before the final battle) and it's a long and time consuming game.
To be honest, it's a great game but these last few days, I kind of rush it to the last chapter because I was getting tired of it. I started playing it before posting the thread request for "Marl de Jigsaw".
