If I change window focus from PCSX2 to another program, PCSX2 will later stutter and likely crash, depending on how often you change program focus, and how long you have focus away from PCSX2.
This only appears to happen if I change focus away from PCSX2 while it is running a game. If I pause emulation and change focus(Say, to firefox to scroll down a Walkthrough on GameFAQs), it does not crash.
If I change focus once and back quickly, the game will stutter several minutes later, then continue without problem.
If I change focus as much as four or five times, PCSX2 will crash within the next ten to twenty minutes.
If I change focus to something else, and walk away without pausing emulation or returning to PCSX2, it will crash within an hour.
I'm running Windows 7, 64bit.
I'm currently using PCSX2 1.0(The problem happens on 0.9.8 as well). My emulation settings are the default. The problem occurs whether or not speedhacks are enabled.
GSDX 5334: Direct3D 10, Weave bff, native resolution.
SPU2-X 5324: Default settings
If this is a duplicate, I apologize. The only thing I found with the search was a post that had been closed because the original poster apparently didn't already own a PS2.
