hey there, im a newbie here. i just wanna ask something about words graphic problem when i play ROTK 8 with pcsx2 playground & pcsx 0.9.4.

this is the problem:

the words are in black..Sad

my spec is: abit ax78 amd athlon X2 3.0Ghz ati HD4870 2Gb Ram

Reading the OFFICAL GUIDE can answer 90% of your newbie questions

Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone has found a solution to this? It affects both my ROTK7 and 8. Using the latest beta PCSX with default plugins, intel quad core 2.33ghz iirc, nvidia 9800, on board sound, 4gig (3.25 usable) ram, windows xp pro.

Tried numerous different combinations of settings to no avail.

Use software rendering in GSdx. That will probably fix it.

tried that, no change except a slight drop in fps.

No, there isn't. VIF stands for Vector Unit InterFace
All you can do is wait and hope it gets fixed in a future release.

Thanks to Rayman, i've solved the problem.

While Rayman uses Pcsx2 version 1.00, i used the latest version. Both works fine.

Most important is to use the Gsdx5334 GS. It works for me in SS2, 3 or 4.

I got the GS version Gsdx5334 from Rayman again.
