[Bug Report] Tales of the Abyss
#1
I wish to report a very odd sound bug in Tales of Abyss (USA) what occurs in the the latest build of PCSX2: Here's my config http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh137...config.jpg Here's what's going on, whenever I go from one area to another, the music of the first area still plays (and overlaps) with the music in the second area and the sound effects (cursor, etc) are missing, even after loading the save more than once. I remember older svns that played it properly, but as to which one it was, I can't remember. Here are my computer specs and emulator info:

CPU: Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz (not overclocked)
RAM: 2GB DDR2 SDRAM (PC2 6400)
OS: Windows 7 RC 7100
GPU: eVGA GeForce GTS 250 (1024MB GDDR3)
DirectX: 11.0 Shader: 4.0
Audio: Realtek HD Audio (integrated) 5.1 surround

PCSX2 Version: Beta 1329
SPU Plugin: SPU2-X 1.1.0
GPU Plugin: gsDX 1250 (15.00, SSE4.1) 0.1.15 (DirectX 10)
BIOS: USA v1.60 (07/02/2002)

I am using speed hacks, which I think could be contributing to this issue, but I'm probably way off. Again, this issue has been on and off in different SVNs.

Oh, and Photobucket wouldn't let me change the picture size.

You cud try diffrent sound plugins and turn off all speedhack to see if it realy is not the problem for it
p.s the status flag hack only works if you have enabled microvu in cpu settings

Out of curiosity, is it possible that the same sound issues with one game affect another (like Grandia 3 having very faint sound) with speed hacks on?

Moved and closed. We aren't interested in reports with speed hacks.
