[Bug Report] Time Crisis 3 [NTSC-U]
#1
# PCSX2 version: pcsx2-v1.5.0-dev-3217 (Windows)

# CPU options: EE/IOP defaults, VUs defaults
# Plugins used: default plugins
# Description:
Sound is chopped/skippy during FMVs on default settings.

For some reason setting EE cyclerate to 1 fixes the audio (took me a while to test this option, I think I tried every other option in the emulation settings and SPU-2 X settings...). I have joined the audio I get from the intro with no hacks and with EE cyclerate 1 (video isn't needed as it's fine in both cases).

Btw, EE cyclerate to 2 or 3 messes up the audio also.

is because your cpu is struggling ?

EE is around 50 when the FMV plays, and it plays at 500% 300% without framelimiter... So I don't think the CPU is struggling

Hard to know since you didn't provide your specs or an emulog.

Is this the NTSC or PAL version? Time crisis FMVs are very picky about cyclerate.

Edit: It's the NTSC version (I have both, and PAL version has fewer audio issues, it's only buggy on very long FMVs).

Sorry.

So it's the same as darkwatch, it need a 130% cyclerate to work.

I guess so. Note that it's only for the NTSC version as PAL is worse when setting 130% cyclerate.
