sorry for the late answer, i used power iso and no i didin't receive any error message i even tried 2 times to create the iso file , by the way now that i istalled the program from your link i can now istall the latest version, i'm tryng to play it again to see if it present me again with the glitch

tried with the latest version but the glitch is still present i forgot to mention the other glitch that the game is having, maybe its the reason this problem happen, this glitched cutscene is precisely before the glitched text appear.

what if you press F9 ?

thank you it works! you are a lifesaver! but there is another problem now the screen is covered in a bright glow and weapons are inside a black square (the weapon glitch started once i used the latest version) heres a screenshot showing the problem.

Try Opengl hardware mode with Hardware depth , Accurate date enabled and check whether the issue is resolved.

You can change it in Gsdx plugin settings. There's a drop down list for renderer selection and check boxes for the other options I've mentioned above.

Unless this is a regression in D3D HW mode, it should not be necessary to run OGL with Rogue Galaxy.

The only issue should be that the text is dark gray instead of white. (Which happens in OGL as well).

[Edit] Actually just tested the game myself, and the words aren't showing up as garbage in my menu.

From what i've seen this glitch seem to happen when there is a dream cutscene sequence that happear all in grey but pressing f9 during it seems to fix it.

Black and white sequences tend to really ***** up GSdx... it happens in a lot of games.

Are you by chance using save states? Try loading from a memcard save if so.
