Burn double layer DVD

Hi, I have downloaded GOW2 and I'd like to burn it on a dual layer DVD. My question is: are there any "mystical operations" that I have to do to burn this game? Something like toxic patcher or what? And do I have to have a dual layer burner or a traditional burner would be allright? Thanks for your attention.
