You need to boot the game in Software Mode and load a race then you can switch to Hardware Mode. Switching to software while the game is running will not fix it, same as the black sky.

Switching to software while the game is running (before the race) fixes the black sky but ok I will try booting in software

It worked Laugh so I start the game with software and switch to hardware when the race starts. Thank you ^^

That fixes the windows issue too? I guess that's why I never got it, I always use the workaround for the sky

Try disabling WideScreen Patch,and set GSDX to Opengl......

^ So how exactly does the software mode switch thing fix it? Does software mode have a different implementation of the cache?

Yeah it does. it also fixes the eyes in the Jak games
