skipdraw 3 nor changing brightness doesn't works.
yes software mode works, but I am playing on laptop and rather use my gfx card to do the work

Please make support threads in general discussion before posting your results in here. It might be fixable, plus you haven't told us anything about your version or setup.

You made the same statement on the wiki pages for Burnout 3 as well, but I tested it myself and Skipdraw 3 does remove the vertical bars.

(And the bars only show up in 480p Progressive Mode in the first place, so they can be completely avoided if necessary by just not booting into Progressive Mode).

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.
