Burnout revenge explosion artifacts
#1
Hello all,
I have this weird issue of having white vertical artifacts whenever a crash event happens ( takedown, car crash..etc). A video for the issue is attached. occasional hanging is also observed

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cekR_nV...sp=sharing

my current specs are
Acer predator helios 300

NVIDIA GTX 1060 gpu
intel core i7 8750H cpu
16GB ram

and the settings are in the screenshots. I don't have experience in these configurations, I just followed someone's settings off youtube, which seemed to get the game working, as it was lagging and had the black sky issue.

I would very much appreciate your help

looks like your cpu is suffering (about the slowdown) since the ee% is near 100.
start by disabling that ee cycle speedhack and can you please post the emulog.txt ?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]
Pasted emulog goes here
[ /code]

I disabled the EE speed hack, the game is considerably faster, but experiences occasional glitching as well ( much less than the slowdown seen earlier)

I am not quite sure what is causing the cpu overclocking ? is it because of the settings I am doing?
