CDVD READ ERROR, sector = 0x000e7551 (Test Drive: Eve of Destruction)

Hi! It's my first time posting here.
At a certain point in career mode and every time I try and do action mode the console shows this error "CDVD READ ERROR, sector = 0x000e7551" and a forever loading screen occurs.

My specs: 
Operating System - Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics 4 Cores
RAM - 16.00GB Dual-Channel DDR4 
Graphics- GPURadeon RX 570 Series 
Storage - 1 TB

P.S. This problem is in this thread before but it's a few years old so I'd thought I'd ask again since I'm having the same problem and don't understand how they solved it. (Yes, I basically copy-pasted that thread lol)

CDVD READ ERROR means the image is damaged
Recreate it with ImgBurn

That problem has already been fixed. Use either PCSX2 1.6 or latest dev build and that error will be gone.
