is persona 4 the only game you tried?

No, I also tried persona 3 FES, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, and others, all of which work in the older version.

Make sure you unmounted the ISO from whatever other thing you have it mounted on.

That makes sense. After I did that though, it just crashed PCSX2 without an error message.

I am running PCSX2 0.9.6 and r1736 on Win7 Enterprise x64 but I don't have any problem with Cd/DVD plugin (using CDVDolio and cdvdGigaherz)

I figured it out!

I didn't realize I had the new one set to use directx11. I'm not sure why it was still loading the bios without an image though. Oh well, it's working now. Thanks guys!
