CPU question

I am playing persona 4 and its only taking 50% of my cpu (the rest is in system idle) and its running at 40 fps in certain screens.

I think the screens that do it are these static like screens that overlay on top of the battle and other certain screens.

My question is my fps is always 40ish FPS with or without speed hacks and a CPU sticking around 50-65ish then why is the game lagging like that.

In short:
The 2 main threads need to wait for each other to finish certain tasks, so this IS as fast as it can get.

Good to know, then over clocking and enabling speed hacks will not improve gamespeed then, right?

But i would guess that Conroe (core2duo) would run a lot faster than P4's do

It was a general question at first not a bug report...If i put it in bug report that was a mistake, sorry
