Call Of Duty 2/3 best settings request

Hi. This may be the wrong place to post this, mods feel free to move to the appropriate place.
Does anyone have any info on call of duty 2 and 3 in terms of playability?
I'm having trouble getting Call Of Duty 2 and 3 running well. In hardware mode there's artifacts all over the screen, menus and in-game[screenshots attached]. But in software mode, there's no artifacts, however the speed is terrible. It takes a while for button presses to register and it's just not up to par. I'm using the latest dev build and my specs are in my signature I think.
Most PCSx2 settings are default, no speedhacks or anything.

you'll need a godly chip. I'm not even sure if you can get full speed in software mode on that game

You're right. It seems like barely anybody can get this game running smoothly, and the people that do [the ones who have youtube videos showing off gameplay] haven't posted their settings.
