Call of Duty 3: Weird 'emboss' effect around models at a distance?

Hey, just go into PCSX2 to play COD 3, and i couldn't get it running well on 1.6.0, but could on the nightly build, quite smoothly too. the only issue is the edges of the textures have this weird border at a certain radius when playing at anything higher than native. i couldn't see it in other's playthough using the emulator so i was wondering if any has encountered this issue or has a fix?

I'm wondering if this is simply unfixable, considering obviously the native output would never display this issue...

I've uploaded a YouTube video but apparently I cant post any kind of links to this forum? I tried to link a video in the original post but it wouldn't let me. If you could help me figure out how you share stuff on this forum I'd be happy to. the only thing i can think to do is post the video ID: RemzSo9H2tE

y'know just copy paste the id after 'watch?v=' in a yotube video url

oh I see what you mean.

Okay I know how to fix it, we're sorting it out now so you should get an update soon which will fix it (in the next 20 minutes).

thanks for the speedy patch, saw the update and the note in the patch notes and downloaded it but I'm sorry to report it doesn't seemed to have changed anything.

Make sure you don't have manual GS fixes enabled, because that will override it. It's certainly fixed on my end.

sorry for the rookie question but where is that option in the settings? I see the 'Manual Hardware fixes' check (which is unchecked). 'Manual Games fixes' is checked though, whilst 'manual hardware renderer fixes' is unchecked. I'm using Direct 3D12 btw.

yeah I meant "manual hardware renderer fixes"

if you've updated, it should be fine :/ it's cleared up here.
