not really, i can run dbz at 60 fps when i hit f9 but the graphics turn to *****

of course, because software mode is stuck to native resolution.
you have to choose between high quality with glitch, or native res with accuracy.

enabling edge antialiasing may improve things a bit in software mode.

But what gsdx-settings do you use in hardware mode?
This sounds as if your gpu is struggling not your cpu.

its pretty sad if my card cant run an old ps2 game fine when it can run most newer games at max graphics

so im trying to play champions return to arms now, and when i have f9 on it runs fine but i can only see half the screen and without f9 it runs at like 30 fps?
