Can my Mac run PCSX2?

Hi,

not the extremely techy type, just want to play some PS2. I was wondering if my macbook pro is able to run PCSX2 properly?
I have tried a couple of games, and they run fine through the menus, but once I'm in the game, they are extremely slow.

My mac specs are:

Processor:     2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory:       8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Graphics:       Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

Any help would be much aprreciated

I'm running on a 2016 Retina MacBook 12 inch, m3 model. I use PCXS2 with Windows 10 and Boot camp; I can play Way of the Samurai just fine, except when there are too many enemies on the screen at once. Your computer is much more powerful, and should be able to run it even better.
