make sure you're using the 650M instead of Intel HD 4000 by the way !

for GOW use VU cycling at level 2 in speedhacks Smile

80 - 90% isnt all though is it? Though in reality its probably closer to 70%. The fact is that there are games that the latest i7s OC'd to 5GHz still can run at full speed.

you probably mean "can't" i know a lot of demanding games like SOTC and ZOE , ZOE2 but those are not more than 10% but that isn't normal there just badly emulated . Smile

Yeah im on my phone atm lol

Those examples are also the high end games. There are others that need closer to 3.5+, etc. 70% may be a bit low, but at 3.1 GHz there are still plenty of games that will be too much for the cpu.

Actually, 90% of PS2 games run near full speed to full speed on a quad core @3.5 Ghz.
Some very rare cases would need a cpu clocked @ 5Ghz.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

3.1 GHz still doesnt reach that though. However 80 - 85% would sound reasonable. Though I class near full fps and full fps as seperate, but thats opinion.

Not really.
70% will need a quad core @3.0 ghz while 90% will need a quad core @3.5 Ghz.

You're both right Wink

well since the Moderator Jesalevin use SB so a 3.5GHz SB would match a 3.1 GHz IVY Laugh or that's just a bad conclusion Unsure

Generally speaking, yes or close to, however im not sure how much difference the architecture adjustments have on pcsx2.

Though sandy bridge and ivy bridge have always been the better processor architectures for ps2 emulation.
