Can only reach title menu, help Plz

I loaded up the main ps2 title screen with the browser and system configuration

but all i see in the browser is two memory cards, with no disc

i have kh2 in and i used it as the cd dvd rom, its an image (is that right?)

so does anyone have any helpful ideas?

if i compress or decompress any files will i end up messing up the game if i play it on the ps2?

I play with my DVDisos compreseed and PCSX2 compressed, it shouldn't be a problem.
