Can't boot MDS files with 1.4.0
#11
Okay I guess sometime simplest solutions are the best.

I took the i00 file in question and just renamed the extension to *.iso and the file booted just fine Laugh

I didn't test it extensively but do you think this could cause any problems? Also there are still these 1kb mds files and .i01 files which are 200-300mb in size. Not at it makes a huge difference but do you think it's safe to remove these?

i found whats the trouble...
MDS--->is only log file that has succesfully ripped from DVD
MDF--->actual ripped DVD image file
other extensions you needs requires attention of is in CD rom format
CUE--->log file sucessfully ripped from CD
BIN---->actual ripped CD format image file.

thus...load the MDF file on the internal loader of pcsx2

I don't have one.

I figured I might be able to rip those games to more sensible format from HDD which is still installed in my PS2. Also I noticed that these i00 files are some of the larger files I have in my PS2 game folder. Maybe this had something to do with way how HDLoader software handled large games.

I guess this problem is related more to those files I have since they can't even be mounted with any software. Still weird how PCSX2 1.2.1 can run these but a more recent version can't.
