Can't config mouse and keyboard

I'm trying to configure Lilypad to use my mouse and keyboard, but it simply won't do it. When I press one of the buttons in the config menu it won't let me change it, the only thing I can do is set the sensitivity, pretty much. If it's just me overlooking something, or just being dumb, I don't know, but I would appreciate any help.

I have tried changing the input for mouse and keyboard to all 3 of them. I'm running windows 7, and my computer meets the minimum requirements.

Yes they are. According to the official config guide, i'm doing it right, although the config itself disagrees with me somewhat.
