Can't get full screen in 0.9.7 on gsdx

As the title implies I just can't switch to / start on full screen on the latest beta 0.9.7 on gsdx. using the latest plugin.
I also tried to switch to 1888 beta plugins (in which it works fine) and it didn't work.
any insights?
Zerogs works fine though it's to slow for me

While ingame hit left alt + enter.

Well, I feel pretty dumb right now. tried right-alt shift for ages.
never thought about the left one.
