Ok, I finally managed to get the emulator working, mount the image, etc. But when I try to play the game Ecco: Defenders of the Universe for the PS2 I can't get past the first loading screen. It doesn't crash, it just loads and stops there. I don't know what it is that's going on so any tips would be great.

That game appears in the compatibility list as intro only which is what you seem to have. Try the latest beta, maybe enable some of the gamefixes on it (one by one is best) but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

UPDATE:\\Well, got the beta loaded up but now apparently the CDVD plugin refuses to open. *headdesk*
UpDATE 2\\ Well, managed to fix that. But unfortunately, 9.7 doesn't do any better than 9.6 did.
