Well. None of them really crash. They just boot and do their thing. (Also, I've only been using these versions)
Oh yeah. I can tell you this much that the version of this 0.9.8 is r4600, but I'm not sure if this makes a difference.
It's funny. If I use the old version of PCSX2 it boots fine with all the cut scenes and all intact. But the game itself is all glitchy and not colored correct. (Like the ground being purple)
Also, I've tried all the GS Plugins. I dunno if I've already stated this, but if I haven't, then here it is.
I would understand why the color and gameplay is glitchy in the old version of PCSX2, but not why it wont even start up in newer version as v1.0.0 and v1.5.0; Incompatible? I guess.
About the gsdx config, no. I haven't tried them yet. I've at the moment only used OpenGL (Hardware)
I'll give you an update, if I find something out. Whether one was successful or none.
Update:
Okay. Now I've tested all renders, but the None. Still get the same black result.
Also, I don't know if you have noticed, but every time I boot up (Full or Fast) I always get this at the bottom of the console:
Elf entry point @ 0x002939d0 about to get recompiled. Load patches first.
GSdx Lookup CRC:######## <--- Numbers. Want them? Just ask for it.
