I'm still trying to record Warship Gunner 2 but neither 1.2.1 nor r5403 (the last build WG2 didn't have the graphical problems I previously reported) will record with f12 for more than 15-20 minutes without crashing. Worse yet, nothing gets added to the log or console when this happens. I've tried several codecs as well as uncompressed and they all crash in that same window. I tried several different missions and attract mode to be sure I wasn't hitting some weirdness in one part of the game.

Easily. i5 4570, Geforce GTX 760, 8gb DDR3 1600 MHz. I can run this ***** full speed in software mode if I'm not recording. And the drive I'm recording to has half a terabyte free and was recently defragmented so it's not that either. No speed hacks, default d3d 11 mode in gsdx recording at 640x480 or 960x720.

I gave it another try, turned out that my 1.2.1 recordings were in d3d11 software mode but switching to hardware didn't help, this time crashing in 17 minutes and change.

Figured it out. I checked the Windows event logs and found about 50 application errors from pcsx2.exe, all pointing at xaudio2_7.dll. Switched to DirectSound and recorded for 47 minutes before ending the recording manually.
