Can't use any other renderer than OpenGL

Hey guys,

I can only select OpenGL as renderer otherwise at startup it would say "pcsx2.exe has stopped working".. Whats the problem?

This are my settings which work but only reach ~75% speed in bigger worlds..

Yeah your 5500U which is an ultra low performance dual core isn't the best for PCSX2 for starters so expect terrible performance most of the time.

Ultra low performance? Are you drunk? It's got a respectable single thread performance of 1574, which should be enough to run those games.

@trxit: What's your GPU? It might be your achilles heel.

I think he wanted to say "Ultra-low power" Tongue

Quoting the following article.

Article Wrote:What Do the Intel Processor suffixes Mean?

C – Desktop processor based on the LGA 1150 package with high performance graphics
   H – High performance graphics
   K – Unlocked
   M – Mobile
   Q – Quad-core
R – Desktop processor based on BGA1364 (mobile) package with high performance graphics
   S – Performance-optimized lifestyle
   T – Power-optimized lifestyle
   U – Ultra-low power
   X – Extreme edition
   Y – Extremely low power

Either way, that processor is quite powerful. I have a similar laptop and it is able to play most of the games pretty fine Smile
