Can this setup run

Hi all my pcsx2 is running very slow i have the following specs:

GPU:nvidia geforce 9600 gt
CPU:AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz
RAM:8gb
Windows 7 service pack 1

Nah, PCSX2 runs fine. Emulating your game is what's slow, so you might want to tell us what you're trying to run
It might just be me but your computer "sounds" like a pre-built one. Something about that lowmid-end card doesn't sit right with me considering you have such a CPU sitting next to it..

Try software mode. Your GPU is really bad and its holding back your CPU. When in game press F9 to switch between software and hardware. Your CPU should easily be able to handle software mode.

Im running it in software mode and it jumps from 100fps in cut scenes to 40fps when theres a lot of action going on...

ahh that worked thanks man!.Is there anyway to keep the fps at 60 cause it goes up to like 70-80fps at random moments
