Can we get pressure sensitive buttons working on this emulator?

Im afraid you can't, unless you are a lucky enough person to find a windows driver which does analog buttons. Unfortunately windows only registers ON or OFF for buttons, so there's no room for pressure sensitivity Sad

The older versions of ssxpad did a thing where you press a wierd combination of buttons on the ps2 pad to get different pressures, however it felt horrible to actually use, so got removed.

what does it do in mgs3?

Lilypad supports pressure sensitive button emulation.
You'll have to map a keyboard key to a button and set its sensivity.
Awkward, but gets you through the games that need them.
